Ayurvedic 21-Day Spring Detox Program

What is an Ayurvedic Detox?
Ayurvedic Cleansing is a great way of cleansing toxins (Ama) from your body during the seasonal change. According to Ayurveda, Ama is the product of incomplete digestion. It’s a sticky, toxic substance that clogs the channels in your body that carry nutrients to your cells and eliminate waste. Since the goal of cleansing is to clear the ama out of the body, it is good to eat warm, light, cooked and easily digestible food. You have to follow a vegetarian diet with freshly made flatbreads, light soups, lentils, organic vegetables cooked with spices. Certain fruits, vegetables and spices are especially good for cleansing.

Madhubani Folk Art Classes

Madhubani Painting is a famous Indian Folk-Art form. Madhubani painting originated in the Mithila region of Bihar and is now known as Madhubani art or Mithila art. Often characterized by complex geometrical patterns, these paintings are known to represent ritual content for special occasions such as festivals, weddings, religious rituals etc. to name a few. The colors used in Madhubani paintings are usually derived from plants and other natural sources. Objects like twigs, matchsticks and even fingers were used to create paintings which were later replaced by acrylic colors, brushes, handmade paper, canvas, nibs etc.

Pranayama Classes

The Prana is the very essence of cosmic life, a subtle principle which evolved the whole universe into its present form, and which is pushing it towards its ultimate goal. The control of this force is what is aimed at by the Yogis by means of Pranayama. He who conquers this, is not only the conqueror of his own existence on the physical and mental plane, but the conqueror of the whole world.

Mantra Meditation Classes

Mantra is a Sanskrit word derived from two roots: man means “mind” and tra means “an instrument or tool” or to “free from”. Therefore, mantras are tools of the mind or tools to free the mind. Mantra is a word, a phrase or a short sentence that can be spoken, chanted, whispered or repeated in mind.

Mantras are one of the most common objects used for meditation and one of the most powerful ones too. Sound, Rhythm and speech have profound effects on your body, thoughts and emotions. Mantra meditation is used to purify, pacify and transform your mind and heart.
Mantra is an instrument of the mind, can help create changes in your body and psyche. It is a toy to keep your monkey mind busy and allow it to become calmer and more centered. It is tool for the transformation of consciousness.

You can try a few mantras before you decide on which one most speaks to you—based on the meaning and sound. For example, if you want a mantra for anxiety, you might enjoy working with om, which has a calming effect.
